Pierina Atoche studies Economics and Growth and Structure of Cities at Haverford College. Her work focuses on the relationship between urban development, infrastructure, and economic opportunity.

Through experience in economic consulting, community development, and geospatial research, she has explored how data and local perspectives can inform decisions about cities and their communities. She is particularly interested in equitable development and how research can help make urban policy more responsive to the people it affects.
